1. Information you provide
Account information includes your name, email address, profile details, and authentication records. Email/password accounts use password authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, LaunchBucket receives identity information such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. Authentication can also store provider credentials needed to maintain the connection.
Content includes recordings and uploaded audio, file names and technical metadata, Ideas, Stacks, Song Buckets, project notes, messages, collaboration invitations, permissions, and acknowledgments. Creator accounts can also provide public profiles, samples, portfolio items, services, events, links, and inquiry or booking details.
2. Device, browser, and usage information
The service processes session cookies and technical request information, including IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps, and error or security events. These support authentication, abuse prevention, shared rate limits, troubleshooting, and audit records.
Recording tools request microphone access through your browser when you choose to record. Temporary recording recovery can store audio in your browser’s local database. Clearing browser data, private browsing, or losing a device can remove that local copy. Some profile and QR-link features record visits or conversion events. Eligible QR analytics use daily pseudonymous visitor identifiers and skip requests carrying supported do-not-track or global privacy signals; this does not disable every operational or security log.
3. How information is used
LaunchBucket uses information to create and secure accounts, save and organize recordings, extract audio metadata and generate listening previews, deliver authorized downloads, operate collaboration and creator features, send account or security messages, enforce permissions, investigate reported problems, and maintain service integrity. Google sign-in connects your identity; it does not authorize access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files.
The current release does not include a feature that trains a general-purpose AI model on your recordings. This notice does not grant permission for such training.
4. Private content, publication, and sharing
Private Ideas and Song Buckets use account and membership permissions. People you invite can access content according to the permission you offer and the collaboration acknowledgment they accept. Public creator content is visible to visitors when published. There is no single privacy switch that automatically unpublishes every item or changes shared Project permissions.
Listening links, downloads, and shared files have their own access rules. A recipient can retain a downloaded copy or disclose material outside the service. Revoking a link or membership can prevent future authorized access through that route, but cannot retrieve copies already delivered. Use care when choosing recipients and publication settings.
5. Providers and disclosures
LaunchBucket uses Netlify for application hosting, Neon for its production database, Backblaze B2 for stored audio and files, Google for optional sign-in, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information necessary for their respective services, including technical logs. Storage and processing can take place outside your country, including in the United States.
Information is shared with the people or audiences you select through the product. Authorized operators can access information needed for support, security, incident investigation, or service administration. Information may also need to be disclosed in response to applicable legal requirements or to address misuse and protect affected people. External websites and services you choose to visit have their own policies.
6. Commerce and disabled features
The application includes creator, booking, supporter, project-funding, and financial-record tools. Live payment processing, subscription charging, payouts, and producer financial activation are disabled for this release. Viewing a price, proposed agreement, or funding screen does not establish that a live payment service is available. Optional background collaboration email and external account-linking jobs are also inactive unless separately enabled.
If payments are later activated, checkout notices and applicable terms must explain the processor, information shared, charges, and retention practices before a transaction. This notice does not claim that LaunchBucket currently collects payment-card numbers or operates escrow.
7. Retention, deletion, and choices
Retention depends on the type of record, its purpose, shared collaboration dependencies, security needs, and applicable obligations. Shared records, audit records, and backups can remain after an item is unpublished or access is revoked. This notice does not promise a universal retention period or immediate erasure of every stored version or backup.
Self-service account deletion is not enabled in this release. Signed-in settings provide available publication controls, connection controls, and a personal data export. Contact LaunchBucket about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. Requests require identity verification and review of shared records and applicable obligations. This notice does not limit rights available under applicable law.
You can refuse microphone permission, stop sharing, unpublish supported items, sign out, and manage browser storage. Some features depend on session cookies and local storage. Removing local recording data before saving or downloading it can remove your recoverable browser copy.
8. Security, updates, and contact
LaunchBucket uses access controls, restricted application credentials, HTTPS transfers, and integrity checks in its production design. These measures do not guarantee that every system or transfer is immune from unauthorized access or failure. Keep your credentials secure and retain independent copies of important recordings.
Updates will be identified on this page. Material changes in data use require appropriate notice and any permission required by applicable law. For privacy questions or requests, contact launchbucket@gmail.com. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, payment details, or private recordings in an initial email.
